STEEL FRAMING PINS
AKN-100-XXXXHA series pins are designed specially for the Model 610 tool to attach plywood, oriented strand board (OSB) and fiber cement siding to cold formed steel from 97mil (12ga) to 27mil (22ga). These pins are finished with Aericote® 1000 coating which provides ten times the corrosion protection of electroplated zinc. When driven, the fastener separates completely from the sheet plastic collation leaving a clean fastening, especially important when face nailing siding.
The 1" long pins can be used for select steel-to-steel applications of up to two layers of 54mil (16ga).

Select sizes of similar pins manufactured from 300 series stainless steel are available. These pins are limited in use to fastening to maximum 43mil (18ga) steel. Contact us for details
