PANELFAST? SYSTEM FOR WOOD, GYPSUM & CEMENT PANELS TO STEEL
The PANELFAST? Model 510 Tool and AGS-100 pins comprise the PANELFAST? system. The sequential fire Model 510 pneumatic tool has adjustable depth control that precisely places the pin at the desired depth in plywood, gypsum sheathing, Dens Glass? Gold, Fiberock?, fiber cement siding and even vinyl siding. One tool does it all!
The exclusive design of the Model 510 tool drives the largest 0.100? headed pin on the market, providing maximum wind pressure resistance even in gypsum based sheathing materials. The tool accepts pins 1-1/2?, 2? and 2-1/2? in length and is designed for use with steel 14ga to 22ga thickness.
STEEL FRAMING TOOL FOR WOOD TO STEEL
The STEEL FRAMING Model 500 Tool is designed specifically for light gauge steel construction, and has earned a reputation as the most reliable tool on the market today. Weighing only 6 pounds, this bumpfire tool is three to five times faster than traditional screw guns. The tool accepts fasteners 1-1/2? to 2-1/2? long and operates using common air compressors at 120psi maximum air pressure.
Using our code approved, coil collated AKN-100 series pins, the Model 500 tool is used to fasten plywood shear walls and horizontal diaphragms to cold formed 14ga to 22ga. steel. This system is also code approved for face nailing specific brands of fiber cement siding to light gauge steel studs.
AERICO? 90 OUR MOST POWERFUL TOOL FOR CONCRETE AND 3/16? STEEL SUBSTRATES
The ergonomically designed Aerico? 90 tool drives ASM-144 pins and AKN-144 pins into both steel and concrete substrates. Fasteners are available either taped or plastic collated.
At 150psi air pressure, this tool will fasten plywood underlayment to concrete, or attach an OSB roof panel to 3/16? steel members. Adjust the air pressure to 120psi and the Aerico? 90 will fasten fiber cement siding to concrete masonry units.
MODEL E45 SYSTEM FOR FACE NAILING SIDING, STEEL-TO-STEEL AND GYPSUM WALL BOARD FASTENING
Using sheet plastic collation, this system eliminates plastic residue from under the head of driven pins for a clean installation. The tool operates at a maximum air pressure of 120psi and has the power to attach fiber cement siding to steel as thick as 97mil (12ga). Reduce the air pressure and adjust the overdrive knob and the tool accurately attaches wallboard to steel as thin as 20ga.
The Model E45 handles pins 1" long to 2-1/2" long. For face nailing fiber cement siding, use AKN-100-XXXXHA pins. For fastening interior wall board, use ADW-100 pins. For select steel-to-steel applications of up to two layers of 54mil (16ga) with rigid bracing use ASK-100-XXXXH pins.
This versatile tool can also be used for special applications requiring wire collated pins or stainless steel pins.
